About Probus

Probus clubs are organizations for retired people who wish to maintain a social network with others who have similar interests. There are more than 4,000 Probus Clubs worldwide with over 300,000 members. Probus Perth is a particularly active club with more than 200 enthusiastic members. The club normally has monthly meetings, excluding July and August, featuring interesting and entertaining speakers and presenters on an eclectic range of topics. Members have the opportunity to talk about their own life experiences and it has been said that the country could be run by the members of our club based on their talents and achievements. Optional social activities are numerous and varied and include such things as annual trips to the 1000 Island Playhouse, local dinner / theatre events, fall bus trips to interesting sites, seasonal parties and lunches.......and much more. New members are always welcome, but we have a cap on membership set at 205 members.

Although we are currently on a socially distancing pause because of COVID,
the Perth Probus Club normally meets on the first Wednesday of each month
September through June at 10:00am, with coffee and socializing beforehand.

Visitors from other Probus Clubs and guests of members are always welcome to attend.
In the interim we are meeting via ZOOM on the same schedule.
